As stakeholders in the damage prevention industry we ask that you share this important information with your customers and employees.


Homeowners may now apply online for locate requests from Georgia 811. This means that homeowners and DIYer’s are able to enter information online that is then transmitted to a Georgia 811 CSR. This CSR then creates the locate request and sends the completed ticket back to the homeowner along with a copy of the ticket text and ticket number.


Many of you have information about Georgia 811 on your websites – both internally and  externally. We ask that you update that information.
