Georgia 811 System Maintenance

Duluth, GA – March 20 2012 – Georgia 811 announces that an Excavation Digging Event Notification (EDEN) system upgrade will occur today, Thursday, March 22, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. During this time, Georgia 811 will be unable to create and transmit locate requests. Online locate request creation and the Positive Response Information System (PRIS) will also be offline as well.
Updates include:
New site design – a updated look and feel.
Navigation links in Request Creation allow users to page thru search results (Previous | Next).
Navigation links in Response Page allow users to page thru search results (Previous | Next).
Related tickets option in Request Manager search results.

As released on March 15, 2012, Georgia 811 will also be conducting scheduled system maintenance on Thursday, March 22, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. During this time all Georgia 811 services will be unavailable: including Call Center, EDEN web entry, PRIS (telnet, web, and phone), corporate email and corporate websites and Homeowner eTicket.

In the event of a utility damage or emergency please contact the affected utility directly during this time, and then call Georgia 811 once the maintenance has been completed.
