Duluth, GA – December 30, 2019 – Georgia 811 has detected a technical error on locate requests created Friday, December 27, 2019 beginning at 4:30pm through Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:15am. Several tickets are incorrectly displaying a response due date of 1/1/20 at 11:59:59 PM. With the holiday observance of 1/1/20, the correct response due date is 1/2/20 at 11:59:59PM.
Georgia 811 apologizes for the error and asks all to please disregard the erroneous information and proceed with all ticket operations with consideration of 1/2/20 as the correct response due date. Excavators are also reminded to check PRIS prior to excavation.
Georgia 811 staff is currently working on issuing new additional request tickets with the correct dates for all affected locate requests. The technical issue has been resolved and future locate requests are expected to display the correct response due date. Thank you for your understanding.
