Ticketing System Launch Date Moved to July 30

Duluth, GA – May 21, 2020 – Georgia 811 has decided to move the launch of the new Georgia 811 Ticketing System, GeoCall, to July 30 to provide more time for members to prepare to receive tickets and for stakeholder training.
 
Those interested in ticket creation training will have opportunities to either attend a live webinar class, take a one-hour self-paced training class online via digital learning, or review training manuals and videos. Information will continue to be released on the GeoCall Resource Page here or by clicking on the GeoCall announcement icon at www.Georgia811.com. External stakeholders can also sign up to be notified when training starts by clicking on the “Register for Training” link in the right column of the GeoCall Resource Page.
 
In an effort to provide members with the technical information and assistance needed to update any automated systems (including third party systems) used to receive locate tickets, our member deployment calls will continue. Calls will be held on May 29, June 12, June 26, July 10, and July 24. You may watch previous deployment call sessions and/or sign up for a future call here.
 
As always Georgia 811 is dedicated to promoting safety and preventing utility damage by providing a high quality and economical notification system.
