Georgia 811 is pleased to announce that the technical transition to the new ticketing system was successful and that the system was fully functioning in the call center and for web users on Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 AM. Georgia 811 would like to thank all of its stakeholders for their cooperation during the development, testing, and deployment phases. Georgia’s underground infrastructure continues to be protected because of dedicated safe digging partners. The mission of Georgia 811 to promote safety, prevent damage to Georgia’s utility infrastructure, and provide a high quality and economical notification system is achieved through the dedication of all safe digging partners.
