Georgia 811 Summit – Last Chance to Register!

All excavators and Georgia 811 members are invited to join stakeholders throughout the state for the inaugural Georgia 811 Damage Prevention Summit on Thursday, October 6. There will be educational content presented throughout the day as well as opportunities for networking. The schedule will include the Georgia 811 Annual Meeting, 2022 Updates to the Georgia Dig Law, and breakout sessions for both excavators and members. The Summit will be held at the Hilton Northeast in Peachtree Corners from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and attendance is free of charge. Breakfast and lunch will be included. 1-Day Locating Training Available

Thanks to Georgia 811’s Summit Partner, Staking University, 1-Day Locating Seminars are available in conjunction with the Summit. There is one remaining seat available for the training on Friday, October 7, held at the Georgia 811 office. Thanks to the City of Lawrenceville, an additional day of training has been added on Tuesday, October 4, and will be held at the City of Lawrenceville Public Works Office.

Excavator & Member Survey Coming to Your Inbox

Georgia 811 conducts two annual surveys to help provide superior service to excavators and members. Please expect a survey from our marketing research company, MGH, to arrive in your email inbox between September 26 and October 9. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and we would appreciate your participation as it helps guide future Georgia 811 endeavors.

 

Is This Working? – New Systems Availability Dashboard Now Available

Georgia 811 has created a Systems Availability Dashboard that provides stakeholders real-time information about which Georgia 811 technological services may be experiencing an outage. Services include telephone services, eRequest, GeoCall, and the online learning platform.
